If used properly, smoothing Claybar is a time saving tool that prevents costly mistakes and makes life a little easier. The smoothing Claybar removes the following contaminates easily and quickly from exterior paint, glass and metal surfaces: paint oversprays, rail dust particles, volcanic deposits, industrial and natural fallouts. Always spray surface with the recommended lubricant to allow the Claybar to glide over surface. Using back and forth movements with light pressure proceed to cleaning and smoothing the surface. Check surface periodically to feel that smoothness has been achieved. When completely satisfied that the surface is clean, wipe dry and proceed to final cleansing and/or preparing of surface for a few coats of your favorite wax. For the absolute best results: wash surface of vehicle completely with a good recommended automotive type soap that lifts and removes loose dirt and other contaminants easily. Always rinse thoroughly and dry surface completely. Inspect surface making sure it is clean, repeat if necessary.
